Catherine Crowfoot – Director

Catherine has most recently been involved in the development of the National Enterprise Academy (NEA). She led the development of the NEA’s business plan, the new qualifications and the successful attainment of National Skills Academy status.

After completing a BA (Honours) in Politics and Economics from Nottingham University, Catherine attained a MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Economics and Politics.  She then went to work for 11 years in economic development and funding acquisition for two leading edge multi-national property, planning and economic development consultancies in London, working on high profile development projects such as the Manchester Commonwealth Games, re-development of Wembley Stadium and University College Hospital.

Catherine lives with David and Minnie the cat in Oxford and enjoys live music and skiing.

David Crowfoot – Director

David obtained a first class honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Masters in Kaizen Management from DeMontfort University. He then worked in a variety of business improvement roles spanning the furniture, automotive and light engineering manufacturing sectors as well as distribution, marketing and retail, focusing on the implementation of process and productivity improvement.

David found that his business improvement work took him into managing more complex teams and larger programmes which is when he started to use proven project management techniques. This led him to manage multi million pounds, multi discipline teams delivering strategic change projects. David has a passion for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of businesses and the delivery of projects on time and to budget, exceeding stakeholder expectations. As well as supporting new sectors, departments and public as well as private businesses, David is also adapting proven tools and techniques that have an impact not only on traditional business performance (profitability, quality) but also environmental metrics.

David is a PRINCE 2 practitioner and uses the principals of effective programme governance and delivery of products via stage gates in project engagements (adapted depending on scale).

David enjoys all aspects of listening to and playing music and currently plays the drums in a local band.
